Between us we have end-to-end experience of operating a small-to-medium tourism business. Our roles have covered business start-up, ICT systems implementation, marketing, sales, bookings, operations, finance, HR and related business support services. We have also worked with a broad range of tourism industry suppliers and have preferred systems and suppliers that we can recommend and support.
How We Work With You
Our focus is on you and your business. We want to experience your product firsthand. We'll sit with you. And we'll listen. We want to know what your biggest plans and priorities are. And what your biggest issues are too. From there we'll work out a plan with you to work on your biggest priorities and issues.
We'll work out where:
- You or your team can work on things
- You need extra support or advice
- dc&b advisory can help
- Other service providers, systems or technology can help you too, and referring or facilitating contacts for you
- It can wait. It's on your plan - but it has to wait until you can justify the cost or time.
We're firm believers in 'DIY' wherever you can. But also recognising when we're not experts at something - and when to pay for the right kind of help, systems or expertise.
Some consultants will offer a 'discovery session' with you. We just call it getting to know you.
And some consultants will use a one-size-fits-all 'diagnostic toolkit' or 'industry playbook' to try to understand your business and your needs. We don't. We hate jargon and consultant-speak.
We'll listen to you. We'll learn and share our experiences together with you. And we'll help you make actionable and cost-effective plans.
